Peak Playgrounds is one of the leading manufacturers of bespoke outdoor shelters, outdoor classrooms and pavilions.

The company was founded in 2013 by Ricky Wood, a playground equipment expert with over a decade of experience in the manufacture and design of playground equipment. All equipment is manufactured in Chesterfield, a stone’s throw away from the peak District in the UK. We also have our own install teams to ensure quality of workmanship from start to finish.

All of our outdoor shelters are made to order, so you can mix and match roof styles, benches and wall panels to create a design to suit your needs and budget. For example our square canvas gazebos can be made with a felt tile roof and our octagonal pavilions can be made to include fully enclosed with or without windows. We can also provide shelters with no floor or with decking and insulated panels.

Peak Playgrounds wooden products are made from FSC certified Grade 4 Tanalised Timber allowing us to offer a 10 year guarantee against wood rot and a 1 year guarantee on workmanship.

We have worked with schools, nurseries, holiday parks, local councils and parks in the past and everything is made to order. If you have bespoke requirements we can customise your new outdoor shelter to suit your needs.
