Children love creating their own range of scenarios to act out with their friends. Having a playhouse or play den on your playground is a great way to encourage creativity and communication skills. Available in a range of designs including play castles and play boats, we can design and manufacture the perfect playhouse.

Role Playhouses

The Peak Playgrounds Mini Role Playhouse includes a terrace and picket fencing making it a place the kids can call their own. Includes windows and a door, we can also customise the interior with platforms and playhouse furniture – like a kitchen or shop. Every product we make is made to order, so if you have seen something you like or have a specific idea in mind we can incorporate it into the design.

Castle Themed Playdens & Playhouses

Our castle play dens make great feature pieces for school and nursery sensory playgrounds. We can include decking to prevent mud build up and a drawbridge for an authentic look. Available made from high quality treated timber or 100% recycled plastic for eco playgrounds. We can also build castle themed play towers to complete the look.

Treehouse Playhouses

Treehouse playhouses are like our role-play houses but on stilts! They can be installed anywhere on your playground but are ideally suited to locations surrounded by trees for an authentic treehouse experience without the dangers of tree climbing. Tree houses can be installed as an alternative to play towers. They are available with stairs, a rock wall, a cargo net and a slide depending on your needs.

Do you make playhouses for residential customers?

Yes! Although we mostly deal with commercial installations, Peak Playgrounds has also installed playhouses and tree house dens for residential customers. A residential playhouse from us will last far longer as we will build it to commercial standards. Compared to your average shop-bought back garden play set, our residential play equipment is made from higher-grade timber with professional installation included. All of our products are manufactured at our workshops in Chesterfield by skilled local craftsmen. We use FSC-certified Grade 4 Tanalised Timber allowing us to offer a 10-year guarantee against wood rot and a 1-year guarantee on workmanship.

Every product is pre-assembled and inspected before it leaves the workshop ensuring a smooth installation process on site. We are proud to say that our installers are all in-house employees, we even deliver and install overseas!
