Adventure fitness trails and Outdoor gym equipment offer a great way to get kids (and adults!) outdoors and active. We have worked with schools, nurseries, holiday parks, local councils and parks to create public fitness trails and outdoor gyms.

Peak Playgrounds designs outdoor gyms that combine, strength, balance and coordination activities. Our gym equipment uses body weight to provide resistance with no loose components or free weights. This reduces the risk of injury in unsupervised places like the local park or on the school field. We can group equipment together for a true outdoor gym experience or spread the equipment out over an entire field to create a fitness trail.

We can install a range of impact absorbing safety surfaces under your new outdoor gym equipment. If your outdoor gym is adjacent to playground equipment then it must be treated like play equipment. This means it will require safety surfacing to BS EN 1176 and 1177 for it to be compliant. If you are installing the equipment into grass, we recommend the installation of wear mats to prevent mud build up caused by regular use.
