Sandpits & Water Play Stations

Sandpits and water play have been part of sensory playgrounds for many years. Children learn purposeful play as they experiment without being told the right way to use them. The feeling of sand between their fingers and cool water offer a sensory experience as children learn physics, recycling, science and maths principles by pouring, splashing and experimenting.

Children learn about floating, sinking, gravity, and measuring as they play with toys, buckets and spades. We can include pulleys, locks and pipes to move the sand and water from one end to another.

Sand and water play products are available in standard sizes or custom-made to suit your playground and design. All of our products are made to order so if you have seen something you like, tell us your ideas and we’ll incorporate them into your new play equipment.

All of Peak Playgrounds products are manufactured at our workshops in Chesterfield by skilled local craftsmen. We use FSC-certified Grade 4 Tanalised Timber allowing us to offer a 10-year guarantee against wood rot and a 1-year guarantee on workmanship.

Every product is pre-assembled and inspected before it leaves the workshop ensuring a smooth installation process on site.
