Great for large open spaces like parks or woodland trails, the Peak Playgrounds Zipline is available in a range of sizes to fit your play space. Ziplines provide children with an exciting swing experience that’s not for the faint hearted! Suitable for use by juniors (and the occasional adult) they provide stimulating physical play that goes one step beyond our standard swing sets.

The circular rubber swing seat is suspended above the ground with chains from a rust resistant tensile cable. Our most commonly requested sizes are 25m and 30m.

Is my playground suitable for a Zipline?

Ziplines installed as part of a playground scheme do not need to be installed on a hill. The raised platform provides enough height for gravity to push the trolley along the cable but if it is installed on a hill the experience becomes more intense. Safety surfacing is required when this product is installed into tarmac. When installed into grass, we recommend lawn matting to prevent wear to the grass and mud build up even if it is not required for safety purposes.

Ziplines are fast paced pieces of play equipment that are ideal for parks and supervised play. We do not recommend their use as part of a school playground.

All of our products are manufactured by skilled local craftsmen. Our zipline is made from tanalised (treated) round post timber for a natural feel.

Every product is pre-assembled and inspected before it leaves the workshop ensuring a smooth installation process on site.
