Swing Sets & Birds Nests

No playground equipment would be complete without a classic A-Frame swing set. Swing sets provide an exciting and social experience for children. They help develop balance and coordination while encouraging interaction with parents, siblings and friends as they build momentum and swing higher and faster!

We can supply a range of swing sets in round post timber and metal to suit your playground. Choose from traditional flat seats, cradle seats and our popular birds nest seats. We can connect two frames together to create a 4-bay swing frame and arrange single swing seats in a hexagon. After something bigger? Take a look at our giant rope swing.

Swing sets are suitable for all ages and environments including schools, nurseries, parks and new developments. They are a great addition to quiet areas, sensory gardens and busy commercial play areas.

What types of playground swings are available?

• Flat (traditional) Swing Seats – Made from reinforced rubber, these seats are great for junior play
• Cradle Swing Seats – Ideal for toddlers and nursery age children who need to be secured in the seat. We recommend an adult helps put the child in the seat and pushes them.
• Birds Nest Swings – A playground favourite, birds nest swings offer a new experience for children with enough room for more than one child to lay down or sit up offering a new swing experience.
• Giant Rope Swings – Suitable for use by more than one child. A giant rope is suspended between 4 wooden posts for forward and backwards swinging. Children can sit or stand to build up momentum. A great addition for larger playgrounds and leisure venues.
• Inclusive (SEN Swing Sets) – We can provide specialist swing seats for use by children with special needs. Please contact us for advice.

Can you install a swing in my back garden?

Yes! Although we mostly deal with commercial installations, Peak Playgrounds have also installed swing sets for residential customers. A residential swing set from us will last far longer as we will build it to commercial standards. Compared to your average shop bought back garden play set, our residential play equipment is made from higher grade timber with professional installation included. Please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
